My name is Elissa and I am a recent graduate of Interior and Environmental Design from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in Dundee, Scotland.
My interest for design lies within reimagining the old, as well as conjuring up the new. My previous projects, often combine radical, exciting yet functional, ideas with a focus on sustainable solutions and material innovation.
My work spans from repurposing and reimagining existing building as social spaces to designing and hand crafting furniture. I realise my ideas through of a combination of sketching, collaging, modelling, 3D rendering and making and I am inspired and excited by physical craft. I am equally as passionate about digital design and utilising rendering softwares to realise ideas, concepts and spaces.
My range as a designer is therefore broad and I have been presented with multiple awards and shortlist nominations from organisations such as Interior Educators and Artsthread for both my furniture and spatial designs.
Since graduating, I am eager to apply my interior design expertise in an environment that values the sustainable impact of their work through innovative thinking to prioritise functional yet exciting designs.
